ENVÍO DE PROPUESTAS

Todas las presentaciones (comunicaciones) serán de 20 minutos (presenciales y online). Revisen los temas del simposio, más el tema central de este año ("Discursos al margen. Voces olvidadas"). Los temas pueden referirse a lengua, literatura y cine o cualquier otra manifestación cultural en español o italiano. Las propuestas serán revisadas por pares ciegos. / All presentations will be 15 minutes (at the conference and online). Review the symposium topics, and the main topic this year ("Marginal discourses. Forgotten voices"). Topics can refer to language, literature and film, or any other cultural manifestation in Spanish or Italian. We will use a double blind peer review process to evaluate the proposals.

Aceptamos también posters (2 pags. en pdf). Quienes presenten posters, tendrán un espacio para ello en la Universidad de Palermo durante el simposio. Las participaciones y los posters online se colgarán en la web del simposio a la que se accederá con una clave. / We also accept posters (pdf, two pages). If you are presenting a poster in Palermo, you will have a space for it during the Symposium. Online papers and posters will be available at the Symposium's website (participants will access it with a log in that we will provide).

Los interesados deben rellenar el formulario de envío de propuestas antes del 30 de abril de 2019. La aceptación o rechazo de la propuesta se les notificará en unos días. Tras la finalización del simposio, los autores enviarán durante los dos meses siguientes los artículos completos. Se aceptan envíos en español, italiano e inglés.

Interested speakers are kindly invited to send the the proposal form before April 30th, 2019. If the proposal is accepted, you will be notified during the following days. After the end of the Symposium, participants should be sending their papers during the two following months. Abstracts and papers may be in Spanish, Italian or English.

Los autores pueden elegir entre tres editoriales: Palermo University Press. https://www.unipapress.it/it/ (Véase la colección Memoria & Identità...), de la cual asumimos los costes, o la mayor parte (necesitamos saber la cantidad de autores incluidos. Ver normas), o Peter Lang (los autores que quieran esta han de pagar 120 Euros y enviar el manuscrito siguiendo sus normas--50.666 caracteres máximo, incluyendo notas al pie y espacios). También tenemos la posibilidad de Liceus (sin coste para los autores-ver normas). Les agradeceríamos que se apuntaran en esta lista.

Publication:
Authors can choose between two publishers: Palermo University Press https://www.unipapress.it/it/ (See the series Memoria & Identità...); we will pay the costs, or most of them (We need to know the exact number of articles include. See publishing guidelines). Or Peter Lang (authors will have to pay 120 and send their manuscripts according to this format--no more than 50,666 characters per author, including footnotes and spaces). We can also publish in Liceus (no cost for authors. See formatting instructions). Please, write your name in this list, indicating your preference.

La participación es presencial o virtual, en forma de comunicación o póster. Para online, debe enviarse un enlace a una presentación en vídeo o un power point o prezi con sonido y/o vídeo (no tiene que ser tan larga como una presencial). Los posters, de dos páginas en pdf. Dichos enlaces estarán en la web del simposio y habrá un foro y chat para participar, si se desea, durante la semana posterior al simposio presencial (enviarlo antes del 31 de mayo).

Participation is presential or virtual, paper or poster. Virtual presenters have to send a link to a video or Power Point or other visuals with sound and/or video (you do not need to prepare something long--no need to create a 20 minute video). Posters should be two pages long, in pdf format. These links will be available at the Symposium web and there will be a forum/chat to make questions or discuss during the following week after the Symposium, if you wish. Please, send the file/ppt by May 31st.
