Expand Your Horizons...In Both Time and Space
Anthropology as an academic discipline explores all cultures of the world, both past and present, and places a primary emphasis on non-western cultures. With such knowledge, anthropologists seek to understand how humans adapt biologically and culturally through time and space and how the legacy of these adaptations affects people today.
The Anthropology Program at CSUB trains the professional of tomorrow to become more effective and worldly aware. The array of knowledge, methodological training, and hands-on experience equip our graduates with the skills they need to operate effectively in the increasingly globalized and multicultural 21st century world.
CSUB offers a B.A. degree, as well as a minor in Anthropology. Please click on the link at left for more information about our courses.
