CSUB RIAP Literacy Plan 2008

This is clearly a plan that builds upon past success more than creating new directions. The literacy plan was already outstanding.

1. READING BOARDS:

Continue to update the reading boards in CB and DDH. Focus on a different literacy goals each quarter. Try to make the boards more interactive.

1. THEY SAY/I SAY:

Provide students with creative ways to incorporate and properly refer to sources. Model academic discourse.

1. TAKE A BOOK/LEAVE A BOOK:

Continue this book sharing program.

1. READING AND WRITING WEBSITE:

Continue to incorporate new ideas into this site to link the CSUB community to the wider digital world.

1. BROADEN CSUB’S LITERACY COMMUNITY:

Focus on implementing RIAP ideas across the campus through creative discussions with willing faculty.
