Weather Station
We have completed the installation of a new weather station on the CSUB Campus. The 10 foot tower supports seven Campbell Scientific weather instruments and a data logger.
The instruments include:
- Temperature/Relative Humidity sensors
- Rain Gauge
- Pyranometer (solar radiation)
- Wind Sentry (wind speed and direction)
- Barometer (air pressure)
All weather data is currently being collected by the data logger and being stored on Departmental computers. Our goal is to have the data and local weather information posted to this website. Please check back to see our progress. Currently we are sharing our weather data with the NOAA (National Oceanographic & Atmospheric Association) Cooperative Institute for Regional Prediction at the University of Utah.
