Individual Academic Plan
Q: What is an Individualized Academic Plan?
A: An Individualized Academic Plan (IAP) is a document detailing the courses a student should take each quarter leading up to the Quarter to Semester conversion in Fall 2016 and then each semester up through graduation. The IAP is personalized for every CSUB student and is your roadmap to a timely graduation. Your IAP will guide you through course planning during the transition, prevent you from taking unnecessary courses, and ensure you meet all graduation requirements within your declared major. Your academic advisor must approve your IAP and any subsequent changes to it. It will be stored in “My Planner” in the Student Center.
Q: Who will be required to complete an Individualized Academic Plan?
A: All “Transition Students” will be required to complete an IAP. You will work with your academic advisor to get your personalized IAP approved.
