To apply for a scholarship:
- Apply for admission to CSUB,
- Fill out the scholarship application at csub.scholarshipuniverse.com, and
- Contact the Theatre Program Coordinator at (661) 654-2240 or mrees@csub.edu to arrange an audition and/or interview.
The Fine Arts Merit Award Scholarship (FAMAS) is a four-year scholarship specifically for incoming freshmen from Kern County. Awardees receive $1000 each year. An audition or interview, a short essay, and a letter of recommendation are needed. Information about the FAMAS can be found here.
The Theatre Programs's scholarship fund, "Ham & Wry," is sometimes awarded to promising incoming freshmen. There also may be other CSUB scholarships for which you qualify.
