- News & Information
Each February, the CSUB Theatre Program hosts the Spotlight Festival, a day of workshops and performances for local high school drama students. Hundreds of students from most of the area’s high schools attend. This is an opportunity for high school students interested in theatre to visit our campus and facilities, and to participate in a number of educational events. Many CSUB theatre students first learned about our program through attending the Spotlight Festival while in high school.
The day includes:
- Theatre workshops
- Scene presentations*
- Monologue presentations*
- Design presentations*
- Original mini-scene performances
*all presentations receive an oral response from a theatre professional
For more information about attending the festival, please contact the Theatre Program Coordinator at:mrees@csub.edu
