Here you can find a list of potential workplace and classroom exposures. This notification is in addition to the direct contact the University makes to those infected or presumed to have COVID-19 and those individuals who were identified through contact tracing as a close contact.
Important Notice: As of January 3, 2023, the University will no longer report case counts for Kern County. Visit the CDC COVID-19 Data Tracker for information regarding county rates.

Class Exposure Notice
If you are a student in the course(s) listed and attended the class on the specific date, time, and location, there is a likely chance that you have been exposed to COVID-19. For further information please click here.Workplace Exposure Notice
The University has confirmed that an individual or individuals infected with COVID-19 was/were present in the locations and on the dates listed on the table titled "COVID-19 Potential Workplace Exposures" and was/were potentially infectious. If you were in these locations on this date, there is a chance you may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. You do not need to self-quarantine. The risk of you developing a COVID-19 infection from this potential exposure is low; however you should monitor yourself daily for COVID-19 related symptoms.
The University is providing this information as a preventative measure only, to promote your health and safety, as well as comply with Cal/OSHA's Emergency Temporary Standards on COVID-19 prevention in the workplace.
