The CSUB Educator Preparation Programs voted in September 2019 to seek AAQEP accreditation and moved to seek full university approval. The Dean, Teacher Education Advisory Committee, Provost, and President were consulted for feedback and approval. Final university approval was given in December 2019 and CSUB was admitted as an AAQEP member in January 2020. The AAQEP Writing Team was formed by the EPP and includes members from both departments and most programs. The writing team was responsible for working directly with program faculty and staff to identify the measures and instruments for Standards 1 and 2 to create the AAQEP Proposal. The writing team worked together to identify program and unit-level innovations and continuous improvement areas for section 4 of the proposal. These proposed innovations were discussed with faculty and staff in the October EPP meeting. The Associate Dean and Dean reviewed the proposal prior to submission.
