Annotated List of Data Sources
Program faculty in the Department of Advanced Educational Studies and the Department of Teacher Education meet on a regular basis to evaluate programs and recommend curricular changes to the SSE Curriculum Committee and monitor and review assessment activities.
Each program analyzes their data on an annual basis to plan program improvement foci. Programs share data through multiple internal committees such as the SSE Education Council, Credential Office committee, and the Educator Preparation Program (EPP) committee. Credential office staff meet monthly with department chairs, directors, and administrators to keep clear lines of communication open between all groups. Information is also regularly shared with faculty in the school during the Deans’ Advisory Council, which has representation from the EPP through department chairpersons.
Advisory and residency partner leadership committees are provided unit and program level data and participate in providing feedback and guidance regarding program improvement efforts. Please see Common Standard 1, element 3.
