Welcome to the CSUB Antelope Valley Library Resource Center! This resource is offered to currently enrolled students. In the LRC, you will be able to print, copy, and access the internet. Each computer is equipped with the programs that you need to be successful in your education.

CSUB RunnerCard

The RunnerCard is more than just an ID card - it’s your key to security, savings, and convenience at CSUB, along with select community partners. All CSUB students, faculty, and staff are eligible to receive a RunnerCard. The first RunnerCard is free for all students, with the exception of students attending CSUB through Extended Education.

The first RunnerCard is free for all students (excluding Extended Education), with a small fee for replacement IDs ($5 first, $10 subsequent). To make an appointment to get your RunnerCard ID card send an email to CSUBAV-ID@CSUB.EDU.

EAccounts

The new eAccounts portal enables students to have enhanced access to several Runnercard services, including options for online photo submission, transaction history, and the ability to add funds using a credit or debit card.

To add funds to your RunnerBucks balance, simply log in at the link below, and click “Add Money” under your RunnerBucks balance.

To upload a picture for your campus ID, log in and click “Profile” then select “Click to submit a new photo.”

To view your Runnercard deposits and purchases, log in and click “Account Transactions” then set your filter options and click “Search.”

Library Resource Center Policy

Users of this facility can assist in keeping the equipment in working order, and help provide a pleasant working environment, by following these few courtesies:
 
  • The equipment is available for CSU Bakersfield course and research related activities only. The facilities are for the exclusive use of faculty and currently enrolled students of CSU Bakersfield. No other organization or individual, whether public or private may use this equipment. ID cards will be checked on a random basis.
  • Making or using pirated copies of software is against the law. Random checks will be made for pirate software. Any person found making or using illegal software in campus facilities will have all user privileges revoked and the illegal disks will be confiscated. Other disciplinary action may also result.
  • Please keep conversations at a low level so that others may concentrate.
  • Please do not try to fix malfunctioning equipment. Notify a Student Consultant (in Library Resource Center, phone 5110) of the problem you are experiencing.
  • When finished working in the facility, please clear away all papers and other personal items. Doing this will provide a clean working area for the next person.
  • Do not bang on the computer keyboard. A light touch will prevent damage to the keyboard.
  • Game playing, other than those assigned specifically for course work, is not allowed at anytime.
  • The use of peripheral equipment, other than state installed hardware, is strictly forbidden at any time as well as tampering with the software settings.
  • Library materials other than those legitimately checked out must be returned to the Library before Library closing hours.
