Please note that curricular review may vary slightly by School and each should be consulted accordingly. Below are steps for proposing a new course, revising a course or canceling a course.
- Proposals for new courses are developed by faculty and then submitted to the department chair on a Course Proposal Form found on the Academic Operations_Catalog and Curriculum webpage Instructions for completing the course proposal form can also be found on the Academic Operations website.
- Department chair reviews and forwards the proposal to the department curriculum committee for review and recommendation, and then forwards the proposal, with a recommendation, to the School Dean.
- School Dean forwards the proposal to the school curriculum committee.
- School curriculum committee reviews the course proposal and forwards the proposal, with a recommendation, to the School Dean.
- School dean reviews the proposal and forwards the proposal, with a recommendation, to Director of Academic Operations.
