All admitted students must reserve their seat in the incoming class by submitting a $100 non-refundable Intent to Enroll by May 1st for fall admissions, and October 31st for spring admission. You may submit your Intent to Enroll via the link on your To Do List in your myCSUB portal.
The enrollment deposit may be waived for students receiving state or federal need-based grants or full financial assistance, complete the Intent to Enroll task via the myCSUB portal to see if you qualify.
Once you submit your Intent to Enroll at CSUB, an Office 365 account will automatically be created for you unless you were a prior student, then your account will be activated once again.
Office 365 is our official email and calendaring system. Office 365 offers you an enhanced experience and allows you to seamlessly access your email account on a variety of platforms – desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices.
If you have any questions, concerns, or issues with Office 365, please email the Service Center at servicecenter@csub.edu.
When you access certain CSU Bakersfield services, you will be required to provide an additional layer of security to your account by using Duo.
Why Duo? Every day passwords are guessed, hacked or stolen by email phishing attacks. When this happens the safety of our private data is put at risk. 2Step Verification for your CSUB account adds a second layer of security and keeps your account protected--even if your password is compromised.
Setup your account and learn more about Duo.
