The Common Management Systems (CMS) Project is a CSU system-wide initiative to deliver state-of-the-art services to students, faculty, and staff through better administrative software systems.
The new software, PeopleSoft, is an integrated product that will replace the current human resource, finance and student administration systems. The goal is to have all CSU campuses live on the new software by 2008. In addition, CSU plans to consolidate the operational support services for this software into a common data center managed by a third-party vendor, Unisys. For more details regarding this initiative, see the CSU CMS web site.
