The Dean of Students Office is committed to the principle of due process. All violations of the Student Conduct Code are handled in an educational manner with fairness and impartiality. Appropriate consequences and/or actions can be applied to maintain the University’s expectations for all students.
Guidelines for Reporting Student Conduct Violations
To report an emergency, DO NOT use this form. For emergencies, call the University Police Department at (661) 654-2111, or dial 911. DO NOT use this form for incidents involving Academic Integrity Violations or CSUB CARE Team Referrals. Complete the Student Conduct Reporting Form to report a violation of the University’s Student Conduct Code. If you believe that a Student Conduct violation has occurred, proceed with the following guidelines:
Supporting evidence may include the following, but is not limited to:
- Full name (first, middle (if any), and last names) of all parties involved and contact information of all parties involved such as phone number and email.
- Pictures, video, audio recordings, etc.
- Reports, statements, or documentation regarding the incident, similar incidents, or interactions involving the alleged and/or involved parties.
The Dean of Students Office will receive the reporting form and will follow procedures according to CSU Student Conduct Process.
If for any reason a student contacts you, the reporting party, after you report the incident to our office, please refer student(s) to our office and advise them to participate and attend their conference scheduled with our office.
