Upon our acceptance to the exchange or Semester at CSUB program, CSUB will send the students the visa document (I-20 for F1 visa, DS-2019 for J1 visa) and the acceptance letter.
Obtaining Your Student Visa
Allow 2-3 weeks to have your visa documents issued upon the acceptance of your application documents to Semester at CSUB. Make an appointment for the visa interview at the U.S Embassy in your home country. Expect to pay the SEVIS fee at the time of visa appointment. This process can be done online.
Allow a few weeks up to 2-3 months to have your visa interview at the U.S Embassy. Many U.S. embassies provide limited kinds of services. Check the services offered with individual embassies.
