What this means
Comcast, Spectrum, AT&T, and California Connect are offering free or discounted internet service for your home for a limited time.
What you need to do
- Review the offers from either Comcast, Spectrum, AT&T, or California Connect
- Decide which provider would be best for you or is available in your area
- Visit the link to the provider's site and submit the offer
California Connects
- Includes a mobile hotspot that lets you stay connected to the internet in school, at home, and on the go
- $19.99 per month, no throttling, suspension, or overage charges (see the California Connects site for details)
- Sign up for the California Connects Mobile Hotspot
Comcast
- Two free months for new users
- Speed at 25Mbps down and 3 Mbps up (impacts all internet essential users)
- Sign up for Comcast
Spectrum
- Two free months for new users for K-12 and/or college students
- Up to 100 Mbps – must call (844) 488-8395
- Charter will open WiFi hotspots for public use

- Will not terminate service due to non-payment
- Waive late payment fees
