Business Continuity Advice for Staff, Faculty, and Students
This page has been established to provide possible solutions to ensure CSUB Faculty and Staff are able to continue providing services and instruction. Any number of possibilities (like natural disasters or other unexpected events) may cause a disruption in the ability to deliver face-to-face instruction, as well as support services through traditional means. These tools and strategies can minimize the effects of those unexpected situations, allowing for support functions and academic instruction to continue.

Technology Access
For students who do not have access to technology for their CSUB education, there are three options:
- To purchase a computer, students may contact Financial Aid and complete a Cost of Attendance Adjustment to include the computer cost. This may result in additional financial aid.
- Students may apply for a loaner computer and/or hotspot on an annual checkout basis.
As stated above, for students who qualify, there may be assistance in acquiring a
computer or a hotspot. Please contact:
- Service Center at (661) 654-4357
- Email: servicecenter@csub.edu
- Students may qualify to sign up for the Affordable Connectivity Program benefit, which reduces the cost of high-speed Internet by $30/month for eligible households.
Submit a help request online to apply. Computers and hotspots will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
