Getting Started
If you need to move furniture or equipment to prepare a workspace for the new employee, submit a "Move People or Equipment" Facilities Service Request form here.
If anything in the workspace needs painting or repairs, submit a "Repairs" Facilities Service Request form here.
If the new employee has requested an accommodation, be sure to mention that in your Service Request form so that Facilities Management can prepare the workspace accordingly.
To request setup for the new employee's desk phone and phone number, submit a Service Now request to ITS here
Be sure to include instructions such as whether you would like for them to have a new phone number or use a previously existing one.
If your department already has a computer for the new employee to use, contact the Service Center at 661-654-4357 or servicecenter@csub.edu to arrange to have the machine imaged and prepared. The Service Center will need the asset tag number on the device, the device location (building and room), and the NetID of the employee who will be using the machine. Please allow for up to 5 business days for this process to be completed.
If you need to order a new computer for the employee, use this ITS Service Now Request form to request a quote. Once you have received a satisfactory quote, you must place a requisition with Procurement. Please keep in mind that from the time a computer is ordered, it will take 4-6 WEEKS TO ARRIVE AND PREPARE. If the employee will be needing a computer sooner than the 4-6 week timeframe, you can request a loaner by contacting the Service Center at 661-654-4357 or servicecenter@csub.edu
If the employee will require access to the Department Share Drive (V Drive), submit this access request form
If the employee will require access to the Business Administrative Services Share Drive (N Drive), submit this access request form
