2. Apply to the DNP-FNP Program
October 1, 2026 - April 15, 2027 (8:59 pm PST)
3. Submit Program Evaluation Fee
Due: April 22, 2027
Step 1: CSUB Application
Filing period: AUGUST 1, 2026 - april 1, 2027
- Apply to Cal State Apply
- Official transcripts and other university requirements must be submitted and received in the Office of Admissions and Records in order for your university application to be reviewed and processed.
- Transfer Students and Post-Baccalaureate Students may visit the Admissions website for details on the University Application Process.
Step 2: DNP-FNP Program Application
filing period: OCTOBER 1, 2026 - APRIL 15, 2027 (8:59 PM PST)
- Apply to the DNP-FNP Program through NursingCAS.
- Note: In NursingCAS, search for
- School: California State University-Bakersfield
- Program: Select "DNP-FNP"
Step 3: Program Application Evaluation Fee
DUE DATE: April 22, 2027
A $50 (non-refundable) nursing application evaluation fee is required. Payments can be dropped off at the CSUB Nursing front office or mailed directly to the department. This fee is separate from the application fee required from Cal State Apply and NursingCAS.
For mailed money orders and checks, please make it out to "CSUB Department of Nursing."
