Fall 2025 DNP-FNP Application Process 

Application Details

Step 1: Apply to CSUB (OCTOBER 1, 2024 - MARCH 15, 2025)

• Apply to Cal State Apply
• Official transcripts and other university requirements must be submitted and received in the Office of Admissions and Records in order for your university application to be reviewed and processed.
• Transfer Students and Post-Baccalaureate Students may visit the Admissions website for details on the University Application Process.

 

step 2: dnp-fnp Program Application (OCTOBER 1, 2024 - APRIL 15, 2025)

• Apply to the DNP-FNP Program through NursingCAS.
• Note: In NursingCAS, search for
  • School: California State University-Bakersfield
  • Program: Select "DNP-FNP"

 

Step 3: program Application Evaluation Fee (april 22, 2025)

A $50 (non-refundable) nursing application evaluation fee is required and must be mailed directly to the CSUB Department of Nursing. This is separate from the application fee required from Cal State Apply and NursingCAS.  

For money orders and checks, please make it out to "CSUB Department of Nursing."
