Traditional BSN Program
Program Details
- CSUB Nursing offers a traditional nursing program that runs 3 years/6 semesters with summers off.
- CSUB Nursing accepts new students once a year in the fall semester.
- The Traditional BSN program at CSUB is impacted. There are generally more applications received each year than the number of seats that can be accommodated.
- Due to the impacted status, it is strongly recommended that prospective applicants view the admission requirements and policies in the Pre-Licensure Student Handbook.

Foreign Degree Nurses
Unfortunately, CSUB Nursing is unable to accommodate any additional students wishing to take nursing courses out of sequence (MS, OB, etc.) without being formally accepted to the 3-year BSN program. Nursing courses that are offered are only available to those who have been accepted to begin the BSN program from start to finish.
