Student Leadership Awards
The Student Leadership Awards are presented to outstanding student organization, with individual awards for outstanding advisor, president and member. Students may nominate themselves and their own organization, or may nominate others. Nominations must come with comments why the organization or individual deserves to be considered for the award. Awards are not given according to number of nominations, but on the strength of the leadership shown by the nominee. Multiple outstanding awards may be given in a particular category.
Student Leader Hall of Fame and Roadrunner Society
The California State University, Bakersfield Student Leader Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed upon CSUB student leadership. The Hall of Fame is reserved for no more than twenty undergraduate students and one graduate student annually who have shown integrity and achievement through leadership activities, community involvement, participation in campus life, and scholarship while attending CSUB. Through their involvement as student leaders, it is clear to all who encounter them that they are set apart from other outstanding student leaders as especially deserving of this unique honor. The Student Leader Hall of Fame is self-nominating as part of the consideration process includes a resume and a personal statement from the applicant.
