"It is a creative exhibit poster demonstrating how polar bears are endangered species and because of global warming they are affected negatively. The polar bears ice habitats are being melted from greenhouse gas emissions in factories and they also experience water pollution from trash in the ocean."

"The infamous "this is fine dog" next to a heating/on fire Earth where everything is not actually fine. The Earth and the life within it is in peril, on account of climate change, which includes the increase of a global temperature. All bound to be accompanied by disaster."

"I am interested in presenting a poster on my thesis research related to plastic pollution in freshwater rivers. My project is focused on understanding how the presence of a road bridge impacts the abundance and distribution of anthropogenic litter and microplastics in the Kern River. Results concluded from this study can be used to inform plastic pollution management groups on where to focus clean-up efforts in rivers in order to remove high amounts of litter from the environment." - Claire Savage (Post-graduate degree CSUB student)
