Well hello! My name is Brooke Hughes. Welcome to by bio pages! I teach composition courses in the English department.  I also teach Humanities 207, a one-unit, credit/no credit course using the MyWritingLabPlus program.  I am also the co-coordinator of the MyWritingLabPlus program, as well as theMyWritingLabPlus Headquarters, a computer lab on campus (located in CB 100) where you can get help with or just work on the MyWritingLabPlus program.

 
I am originally from Illinois, and I have lived in California since 2003.  My husband and I have a daughter and four cats with very distinct personalities.

My Hobbies: I collect gnomes and all things Muppet!  I enjoy watching movies, playing video games on the PS3 and pc based mmos, comic books, reading, cooking, writing, spending time with family/friends, listening to music, traveling, and watching mma.
