Admission Eligibility Requirements for Graduate Students
University Admission Requirements
- Completed a four-year college course of study and obtained an accepted baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution or shall have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by appropriate campus authorities.
- Left in good academic standing at the last college or university attended
- Have attained a grade point average of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree; or maintained a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 (4.0 scale/ A = 4.0) in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted. Each graduate program may require a higher GPA and/or specific prerequisite courses.
- Met the professional, personal, scholastic, and other standards for graduate study, including qualifying examinations, as appropriate campus authorities may prescribe.
*The Office of Admissions completes a University Admissions Evaluation requiring at least one official transcript from all institutions attended. No admissions review will be made until all official transcript(s) are received.
