The College of Arts and Humanities is throwing something special. Join us on February 1, 2025, for a tour of the renowned Getty Museum in Los Angeles!
There will be no fee to register or attend; attendees will qualify to win prizes courtesy of the College of Arts and Humanities!
Interested students will need to fill out the registration form and turn in the required forms. We hope you can "Getty" on the bus with us!
The trip to The Getty Center will include four tours. Tours of the Center’s architecture and garden will provide insight to the Center’s design and botanical garden created by artist Robert Irwin. Curator tours will include the exhibitions Sensing the Future: Experiments in Art and Technology and Magnified Wonders: an 18th Century Microscope. Detailed information about the tours can be found at The Getty's website.
On February 1, please CHECK-IN at CSUB in Parking Lot A at 7:15AM! We will departing CSUB at 8:00AM. We wouldn't want you to miss this exciting event!

Completed forms can be emailed to ahook@csub.edu or brought in person to the Dean’s Office in the Humanities Office Building, Rm. 207.
Please note that attendance will not be permitted without the completion of the forms.

DR. ALICIA RODRIQUEZ
Interim Dean of Arts and Humanities
Prior to her appointment as Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, Dr. Alicia E. Rodriquez taught in the Department of History, where began her tenure-track career in 1998, after teaching for CSU Northridge the previous academic year. She also served as the coordinator for the Social Science Program, as the faculty director of the Interdisciplinary Studies Program, and was a member of the Academic Senate. Dr. Rodriquez, a Bakersfield native, is an alumna of CSU Bakersfield, and is a first-generation college graduate. She earned her M.A. and her Ph.D. in History, at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Dr. Rodriquez looks forward to serving students, faculty, and staff in the College of Arts and Humanities, to advancing the mission of the College of Arts and Humanities and its programs, and to helping foster greater connections between AH and the broader community.
