"California Challenges in STEM Energy Education” is a project funded by California Education Learning Lab from the California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research that seeks to reduce large educational equity gaps in STEM fields experienced by Hispanic and other underrepresented minority (URM) students who live in California's Central Valley. This is joint project across three academic institutions located in the valley that serve these students: California State University at Bakersfield (CSU Bakersfield), the University of California at Merced (UC Merced), and Bakersfield College.
