What is a Campus Advocate?
Campus Advocate
The Campus Advocate and Education Coordinator provides confidential non-judgmental support service, emotional support, advocacy, information and referrals to students, faculty, and staff. If you or someone you care about has been a victim of sexual assault, domestic violence or stalking and would like to speak to someone confidentially, please contact the Campus Advocate.

Submitting a Thesis, Culminating Project, or Dissertation?
The deadline for Spring 2023 is May 12, 2023.
To set up a profile in ProQuest go to: https://csub.libguides.com/etd
Guidelines for submitting the required electronic copy of your completed thesis or dissertation at CSUB:
1. Complete the theses or dissertation in accordance with departmental guidelines.
2. Submit one copy of the thesis or dissertation with accompanying materials (e.g., graphics, charts, videos, audio files, etc.) formatted as an ADA compliant .pdf file using the ProQuest ETD tool. Your submission must include the signatures of your advisor and committee member(s) on the signature page and an abstract.
3. Completed works must be submitted no later than the last day of regularly scheduled classes during the quarter in which you plan to graduate.
4. The submitted thesis or dissertation will be available via ProQuest. It will also be available via the CSUB Library Catalog and institutional repository within a six weeks of submission.

Student Affairs Graduate Student Leadership Program

Student Affairs Graduate Student Leadership positions support graduate academic program missions, providing exposure to the broad areas that make up Student Affairs at CSUB. Graduate Student Leadership positions allow graduate students to learn the various skill sets that may be needed to support co-curricular functions, including but not limited to the Children’s Center, Services for Students with Disabilities, Student Health Center, Student Recreation Center, Campus Programming, Residence Life, Career Education & Community Engagement, Counseling, Athletics, and more.

- If you need to extend your incomplete grade request, contact your Professor for guidance and approval to extend. This form will need to be completed and submitted by the Professor that authorized the initial request. Extension for Incomplete Grade Form

- Multi-Purpose Academic Petition for Graduate Students**
- Please contact your Program Director, Coordinator, or Adviser before completing the
Multi-Purpose Academic Petition, which may require an Academic Plan review.

- Planned Educational Leave for medical or non-medical
- Repeat of Course with forgiveness
- Extension of time limit for completion of the program
- Readmission after academic disqualification

- Change of Address or Name/Personal Data Changes
- All graduate and post-bbaccalaureate students who have a change in address or name must report the change to Office of the Registrar by submitting the appropriate form with the new name or address. All changes should also be reported to the appropriate graduate program director, faculty advisor, and/or credential program director.
