Honors Individual Project (HIP)
Each Helen Hawk Honors Program student completes an Honors Individual Project (HIP). This is the last and most exciting of the honors requirements because it offers a one-on-one intimate academic experience that can lead to conference papers, publication in one's chosen field, graduate study, international programs, and/or success in finding a job after graduation. This written project serves as a reflection of the student's time here at CSUB and opportunities they have taken advantage of to further their educational journey in their desired field. The Honors Independent project is required to be submitted before they graduate, and be submitted on the Helen Hawk Honors Canvas page.
To obtain approval for and to submit a HIP, please contact our office for a link to the Honors Canvas Course.
