When is Check In?
SATURDAY, AUGUST 24TH 8AM - 12 NOON
Opening Weekend is full of events for you and your family. We ask that you plan to check in and get your keys during the time windows above to ensure that you, and other students, can attend the awesome events that are planned for you across campus all weekend long!
Where is check In?
8501 Stockdale Highway, Bakersfield, CA 93311
* Use Google Maps to find us!
We ask that you pack with the knowledge that space is limited and it is easier to bring more items later than to run out of space on check in day!
Which Bed Is Mine?
Bed spaces are assigned!
Your room assignment includes which bed you are assigned to.
Ex. Juniper Hall-101-A1
Building = Juniper Hall
Room = 101
Bed Space = A1
Make sure that you move in to your assigned space or you will be required to move and could be charged for damages/cleaning.
Complete Your Room Condition Report Right Away!!
Every space has been cleaned and prepared for your arrival. However, it is important that you review your space and submit a Room Condition Report as soon as possible after you check in. Our team will use this report as a reference when we do closing and damage billing.
Don't forget to submit a Maintenance Request for anything you mark as not in "Good Condition" so it can be addressed as soon as possible.
Can I Pick My Roommate?
Room placement is complete!
The deadline to select a preferred roommate was August 1st.
*Your selection is not guaranteed. Roommates must select and approve each other and
assignments are subject to space availability.
If you are interested in changing your roommate/room assignment, there will be several events and activities over the first 6 weeks of the semester that you are encouraged to participate in. During that time, if you find a new roommate(s) you can participate in Rooms Day, which is large scale room swap event. Please note that there is a room freeze the first 6 weeks of the semester and no room assignment changes will be made during that time.
