Check the visa appointment wait time for the U.S. Consulate in your area here. ALI will not issue I-20 if the U.S. Consulate is not conducting student visa interviews in your area.
Once students receive the I-20, âCertificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Statusâ and the acceptance letter from a sponsoring program, they will need to make an appointment for the visa interview at the U.S. embassy in their home country.
