Associated Students Inc.
The Associated Students, Inc. is comprised of a Board of Directors, with directors
from each school, class level, and the dorms, in addition to the student body president
and vice presidents. Decisions made by the Board members affect all students. ASI
serves as the primary voice regarding student interests and issues.
Center for Career Education & Community Engagement (CECE)
CECE offers comprehensive career counseling services, job postings, and community
service opportunities for CSUB students. Our staff members word directly with students
to explore their educational and career plans, helping them create and academic- and
community-oriented professional road map for success.

CSUB Counseling Center
The Counseling Center provides counseling and consultation services to undergraduate
and graduate students who are enrolled in the university. The Center offers short-term
counseling to help students with personal, academic, and career concerns. The primary
goal of counseling is to help students develop the personal awareness and skills necessary
to overcome problems and to grow and develop in ways that will allow them to take
advantage of the educational opportunities at the university.

Office of Admissions
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions admits and matriculates those individuals who
will strengthen the CSUB campus community and alumni base. The Office of Undergraduate
Admissions is here to help you through the admissions process when you are ready to

Student Financial Services
The CSUB Office of Student Financial Services collects student fees, refunds excess
financial aid and student payments, administers short-term loans awarded by the University
and provides CSUB students with information and services needed to manage their student
accounts. In addition, the department oversees the Carl F. Perkins and Nursing Student
Loan Programs and is also responsible for the billing and collection of non-student
debts owed to the University.

Student Health Services
CSUB's Student Health Services (SHS) gives enrolled students access to basic health
care through: physicians; nurse practitioners and nurses; and in-house clinical laboratory
and pharmacy services. Student fees support the facility and provide many basic services--which
are available at little or no cost to CSUB students. As a nationally accredited Ambulatory
Health Clinic, SHS provides quality medical care that is accessible and affordable.

Tutoring Centers
Tutoring is available to CSUB students in many subject areas. You may need just some
extra help with a subject or have a class concept explained a little differently to
you. Tutoring is available, and it's free.
