Orientation Wellness

How will you stay healthy and well as a CSUB student? The CSUB Wellness team is happy to be part of the New Student Orientation sessions for incoming students. Our session will encourage reflection on plans for self-care in college and discuss the integrated approach to wellness that will lead to success in the classroom and beyond. Be Healthy. Be Fit. Be CSUB Well.

  • The mission of CSUB Wellness is to connect students, faculty and staff with comprehensive health and wellness services and programs by focusing on the integration of the eight dimensions of wellness. We promote and support a healthy campus environment by increasing awareness of available resources and relevant events. 


  • Align, balance, and enhance the lives of all CSUB community members through efforts of well-being.

  • Develop a comprehensive approach to well-being utilizing the eight dimensions of wellness.

  • Create physical, emotional, and social environments that promote quality of life, healthy development, and positive health behaviors.

  • Support efforts to increase academic success, productivity, student and faculty/staff retention, and learning through a permanent-standing participatory wellness committee.

  • Achieve health equity, eliminate disparities, and improve the health of the entire campus community.
