The CSUB Alumni Association Board of Directors is a diverse group of professionals
in education, government, agriculture, nonprofit, science, real estate, healthcare
and law who serve two-year terms with options to serve longer to advance alumni, students
and the university as a whole.
Board members are dedicated advocates who help strengthen the connection between alumni
and their alma mater. By championing university initiatives, mentoring students, promoting
events, and supporting fundraising efforts like `Runners on the Rise, board members
play a vital role in advancing student success and elevating CSUB's impact in the
community. They attend regular meetings, partcipate in alumni programming and help
amplify CSUB's story through personal networks and social media. Additionally, every
board member serves on one or more committees, which include Mentoring, Engagement
and Outreach, Fundraising and Scholarship.
Serving on the board is a meaningful way to give back, build community, and help shape
the future of CSUB—together.
