Student Opportunities at SHS
CSUB students (undergraduate or graduate) interested in health promotion or the health field have the opportunity to intern with the Director or Health Education Coordinator. We offer paid and non-paid positions. Interns and student workers work in many different areas of health promotion and gain valuable skills in preparation for working in the health field. Interns and student workers help with peer education, outreach, presentations, group facilitation, assessment and many other areas. Additionally, we are always open to any ideas students may have for additional projects, and we can work together on specific projects needed for classes or degree programs.
Qualifications:
- For student workers (paid positions): completion of application through Handshake.
- For interns (non-paid positions): contact the Health Education Coordinator at (661) 654-3305 or lhedlund1@csub.edu.
