Alpha Chi
At this year's Alpha Chi National Convention held on April 8th-10th, our chapter's Research Collaborative Project Team won First Prize of $5000. The team was composed of Carson Vollmer, Kinesiology major and Honors Student, Jennifer Hart, Psychology major, Alpha Chi, and Honors and Elizabeth Wood, Honors, English major. The team was mentored by Dr. Zack Zenko, Kinesiology. Their project title was The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on access to mental healthcare. Another Alpha Chi Student, Hunter Selbach, Music Major, performed an original piece called Sure Never Till My Latest Breath: A Composition's Story.
Carson Vollmer was also elected as a student representative from Region VII to the National Board of Alpha Chi and Dr. Jackie Kegley was re-elected as Secretary-Treasurer of Region VII and also to the National Board. She also received a Service Award.
