Level Access
Level Access Accessibility Management System (AMP) is a cloud-based web scanning system for web accessibility. It automatically scans/crawls your websites on a weekly basis to detect and identify any accessibility issues. Once the scan/crawl is complete, it generates a report. Users can log in to AMP to view the report(s).
Log in to Level Access AMP
Log in to the Accessibility Management System (AMP) by following these steps:
- On the Accessibility Management System (AMP) login page, select Login via SAML and this will direct you to the CSU Login page.
- On the CSU Login page, select campus name (Bakersfield) from the drop down menu and click Log in.
- Use your CSUB credentials to log in via SSO (Single Sign-On).
Accessibility Management System (AMP) Report
After you log in to the Accessibility Management System (AMP), you will see CSU Bakersfield - Organization Dashboard page. Under the dashboard, the website names you maintain are listed.
- Choosing a website will lead you to the Asset Dashboard page where your reports are listed.
- Select the report you want to review, and this will open the Report Dashboard page with the website name.
- The report details the overall report compliance, top issues, etc.
- If no issue is detected, it shows that there are currently no accessibility issues.
- If issues are detected, they are listed under Top Issues.
Address Accessibility Issues
- If you see issues listed under Top Issues, click each of the issue links (e.g., ensure headers and cells are properly associated, ensure images have proper alt text, etc.).
- After you click the issue name, it will open a new window which shows tabs for Description, Examples, Recommendations, Modules, Standards, and Tests.
- If you are not familiar with HTML code, you can ignore the Examples tab, Recommendations tab, etc. Instead, focus on the Description tab and Modules tab.
- The Description tab describes the issue for you. The Modules tab shows the Name, Location and Violation Count.
- Navigate to the Modules tab, click the link under Name, and this will bring you to a page called View Module.
- On the View Module page, view the details of issues and notes under Confirmed or Needs Review.
- Remediate issues according to the report with instructions.
Training
Level Access AMP training is required to access the system. During the training, you will learn an overview of the system, such as reports, addressing issues, etc. Your account and access will then be created and granted.
