Level Access Accessibility Management System (AMP) is a cloud-based web scanning system for web accessibility. It scans/crawls your websites automatically to detect and identify the accessibility issues on the weekly basis. Once the scan/scrawl is complete, it generates report(s) to the users which you can login to AMP to view the report(s).
Login to Level Access AMP
Please login to Accessibility Management System (AMP) by following the login steps:
- After you are on Accessibility Management System (AMP) login page, select Login via SAML and this will direct you to CSU Login page.
- On the CSU Login page select campus name (Bakersfield) from the drop-down menu and click Login.
- Use your CSUB credentials, SSO (Single Sign-On) to login.
Accessibility Management System (AMP) Report
After you login to Accessibility Management System (AMP), you will see CSU Bakersfield - Organization Dashboard page. Under the dashboard, the website names you maintain are listed.
- Choose each of the website and lead you to the Asset Dashboard page in which your reports are listed.
- Select the report you want to review, and this will open the Report Dashboard page with the website name.
- The report details the overall report compliance, top issues, etc.
- If no issue is detected, it shows currently there is no accessibility issue.
- If issues are detected, they are listed under Top Issues.
Address Accessibility Issues
- If you see issues listed under Top Issues, please click each of the issue link (e.g., Ensure headers and cells are properly associated, ensure images have proper alternate texts, etc.)
- After you click the issue name, it will pop up a new window which shows tabs of Description, Examples, Recommendations, Modules, Standards, Tests.
- If you are not familiar with HTML codes, you can ignore Examples tab, Recommendations tab, etc. please focus on Description tab and Modules tab.
- The Description tab describes the issue for you and Modules tab shows the Name, Location and Violation Count.
- Navigate to the tab of Modules, click the link under Name, and this brings you to a page called “View Module”.
- On the View Module, view the details of issues and notes under Confirmed or Needs Review.
- Remediate issues according to the report with instruction.
Training
Level Access AMP training is required to access the system. During the training you will learn the overall of the system such as report, issue address, etc. your account and access will be created and granted.
