Classroom Technology
SmartFlex Classrooms. There are 22 classrooms on campus that have installed technology to support full S2 Hybrid teaching. These classrooms are similar to Smart Classrooms with the addition of at least one camera and microphones to capture both the professor and the students within the room. Sound amplification is installed to support hearing both the professor and the students in the room as well as remotely.
Mobile Cart for Hybrid Instruction. Hybrid instruction can also be accomplished with one of CSUB's specially designed mobile carts. The mobile carts have a laptop, speaker, microphone, and separate camera to facilitate distance and hybrid learning in non-standard rooms (like Science Labs, etc.).
