Department Responsibilities
Accounting and Reporting, Sponsored Programs Post Award Office is responsible for all accounting functions and financial reporting as it pertains to grants, research, and sponsored programs of CSU Bakersfield.
Accounting and Reporting, Student Affairs is responsible for accounting functions and financial reporting of Student-centered Enterprises, Associated Students and Athletics.
Accounting & Reporting, University of Advancement is responsible for the financial transactions of the University Advancement division and the Foundation auxiliary. This unit ensures all income and expenditures of the Foundation and University Advancement are received, disbursed, and recorded, and all accounting, reporting and reconciliation.
Campus Accounting is responsible for all financial reporting and accounting functions for CSU Bakersfield. Our services include preparing annual financial statements, preparing all tax returns, maintaining the chart of accounts, preparing various monthly reconciliations, processing expenditure transfer requests, processing monthly chargebacks, and reporting of financial data to external, as well as internal entities.
Campus Dining is responsible for serving campus by providing food, building community, and supporting student health and wellbeing” Our goal is to have a best-in-class campus dining experience for Students, Faculty & Staff. Consisting of 1. Outstanding Customer Service 2. Food options, quality, value, & Healthy options 3. Best in class Dining Facility & environment.
Distribution is responsible for shipping and receiving mail, products, and services from manufacturers to campus. Other responsibilities include overseeing the Property Management of Assets.
Payment Services is responsible for all payments and/reimbursements for: suppliers, travel, relocation (for all faculty, staff, and students).
Procurement & Contract Services is responsible for procuring quality, cost-effective goods and services for the campus community through dedicated, ethical, customer-oriented service.
Student Financial Services is responsible for maintaining all financial transactions recorded on student and sponsor accounts. We provide students with information related to tuition and fees, payments, refunds, deadlines, payment plans and general questions about your student account.
