Of all of the factors to consider when thinking about studying abroad, the actual cost of the program and how you'll pay for it should be high on your list. Not all costs are wrapped into the cost of a program. For example, airfare and meals are typically out-of-pocket costs, but not always. For some programs, financial aid is available â others, it's not.
Because each program is different and the available funding varies, we strongly recommend you meet with a study abroad advisor to discuss all of your options as well as develop a comprehensive and realistic budget to guide you during the decision-making process.
You should also be sure to consult with the CSUB Financial Aid office as early as possible to understand what aid might be available to you.
We've also compiled some Funding FAQs below for you to consider. If you have any additional questions, please contact us so we can answer questions relative to your specific situation.
